In designing the MESHPEATER, we wanted something that is extremely strong and durable enough to withstand the harshest environments. It also needed to be sufficiently flexible to handle a variety of mounting needs. To accomplish this, we made the mounting system modular so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. They attach to the case using 4 stainless steel screws for a solid integration. Both the case and solar panel bracket use the same mounting plates allowing you to mix or match to suit your installation.
All parts are 3D printed using high quality PCTG filament. PCTG is up to 30x stronger than PETG and is designed to stand up well to the elements. It does not become brittle even at sub-zero temperatures. All fasteners are made of 304 stainless steel and provided zip ties are extra heavy duty and UV resistant. The antenna mount uses an N-type connector.
Power is supplied by a 4400 mAh Lithium Ion battery and should provide over 1 week of power before needing recharging. Using the included solar panel, the battery should maintain a high power reserve with minimal sunlight.
